Leaving Shanghai

This is what I wrote the night I arrived in Jinhua, so it's a little out of order of posts...

After waking up after the few hours of sleep I got, I looked up the Train schedule and found an earlier train to Jinhua. I went down to the front desk at the hotel and found out from a customer who spoke some English that there was a free shuttle bus to the train terminal. The train terminal was chaos, people everywhere and only one set of ticket windows was open, I waited in line and told the ticket seller I wanted a ticket on train D105 to Jinhua, here was mistake number one. D105 goes to Jinhua West station not Jinhua station, so the guy sold me a ticket to Hangzhou and wanted me to get another train from there to Jinhua. I didn’t understand, so I get on the train and see that Jinhua West is in six stops, so I try and relax for the two and a half hour trip. Everything is going fine until we reach Hangzhou station, an older gentleman gets on and he has a ticket for my seat. A lot of tension in sues with the older gentleman getting irate at me being in his seat and I am unaware that my ticket was just to Hangzhou. The gentleman went and got a young lady that worked on the train and she explained to me I was in his seat, I told her I was going to Jinhua, so I end up paying for the rest of my ticket and standing up for the last hour of the trip.
I arrive in Jinhua and go the wrong way to exit and take an extra ten minutes to find my new coworkers. It was funny I wandered down to where I should have exited to find a young woman talking to an older American whose name happened to be Patrick, I guess my passport picture really doesn’t do me justice, because this guy was easily in his late 50’s. I walked up and got it all sorted out, and then had to wait for the two other young ladies to get back from trying to find me. To make a long story short, because I’m about to go out exploring, we went to my new apartment, walked to lunch and then to my new school. Left the school went shopping for essentials, went back to apartment and then went to the school for a once a month activity night where they were teaching the students how to make pancakes. Finished that activity and walked home with a couple of my new coworkers and finally made it in around 9:30 swept and mopped the apartment and then got some sleep. Next update, my first day alone in Jinhua.
