25k who would have ever thought it????

So yesterday My company was one of many that gathered together for a fund raiser, to help poor kids go to college. This fund raiser was a 25k walk, and my company decided it would be good PR to have a few of the foreign teachers join in. So luck would have it, that yours truly was one of the three that were asked to participate in the walk. Now you all know, I'm a fat guy and 25k is a long ass way to walk, but it was for a really good cause and I definitely could use the exercise so I went.

I was interviewed by two newspapers about my involvement on the walk, I guess I am going to be in the local newspaper. It was funny that I was the only one approached out of the three foreigners in my company.  I surpirsed myself and actually finished the 25k, I received a certificate and two blisters for the effort. Tomorrow will be a very fun day as I am the only foreign teacher that will be at work, I finally get to do more teaching. So until the next time.....
